Appeal After Serious Assault in Barry Town Leaves Man in Critical Condition

South Wales Police are investigating a serious assault which has left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

Officers were called to report of an unconscious man at Ten11 on Broad Street, Barry, at approximately 2.15am.

The 42-year-old was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, where he currently remains.

Two men, aged 32 and 26, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and are currently in police custody.

Enquiries are ongoing, and detectives are keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet given an account to police.
