From today, pubs, restaurants and cafés can reopen their indoor seating areas, as Covid restrictions ease.

Here's a handy list of businesses in Barry and when their doors are open for indoor dining.

Let us know in the comments on social media if you're heading out for a bite to eat, and which venues you're most excited to visit!

The Buck Bar

The Holton Road pub is open from today, 10am-10pm. On Friday and Saturday, it's open until 12am.

However, no under 25's are allowed in the bar after 7pm, a rule the bar implemented before lockdown. This is a temporary restriction, says the owner.

Whitmore + Jackson

This Barry Island café is open for indoor dining from today, and you don't need to book (unless it's for afternoon tea...)

Opening hours are Monday-Friday 9am-3pm and 9am-5pm on weekends.

K9 + 1

The dog-themed coffee shop on the Esplanade is opening its doors today for indoor dining.

Finnegans Inn

Not only is Finnegans Inn open for indoor dining today, but cocktails are now on the menu.

The restaurant staff reccommend booking, by ringing after 12pm, to avoid disappointment.

Hang Fire Southern Kitchen

The classic American BBQ restaurant is opening on Wednesday 19 May for indoor dining, so if you're craving the Southern Kitchen flavour you'll have to wait a couple more days.

Craft Republic

Like Hang Fire, those wanting to head to Craft Republic at the GoodSheds this week will have to wait until Wednesday 19 May.

Head to the website to book your seat.

Caesar's Coffee Lounge

This Holton Road coffee shop is open today for indoor dining.

Paletta Pizzeria

Fancy a slice? Paletta Pizzeria is taking bookings from Tuesday 18 May onwards.
