Vale Council considers making unauthorised Hayes Road traveller camp permanent

The Vale of Glamorgan Council is considering turning the unauthorised Traveller camp on Hayes Road into a permanent site.

This comes after a fruitless five-year search for an alternative.

Well, that's the phrase that came to mind when I met Sultan. Gentle as a lamb but built like a tank, the pit bull terrier belongs to husband and wife business duo Shak and Hanna Bousouf. On Monday, they opened the first shop in the Vale to exclusively sell a large range of raw dog food - joining a worldwide revolution in pet ownership. Couple voluntarily clean litter from station pathway while on daily walk A local couple have taken it upon themselves to clean litter from the pathway to Barry Dock station. Ian and Hayley Howell have spent an hour almost every day in the past fortnight clearing litter from the path and surrounding bushes. Barry remembers those lost to Coronavirus on National Day of Reflection Since the first lockdown began in 2020, hundreds of thousands of people have died. According to ONS data, 112 people in Barry have lost their lives to the virus since March 2020. Behind the statistics and whatever the cause, every death has been devastating for the people left behind.
