This weekend road closures will be in place for the 10k race in Barry.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council have agreed on the following road closures which will be in place from the 3/07/2019 - 4/07/2019.
A new £7.4m 420 place Welsh medium primary school will be built in Barry after plans were formally approved by the Council's cabinet today.
The decision will see Ysgol Sant Baruc, currently home to 210 pupils, transfer to a new state-of-the-art school building at Barry Waterfront. The new school building will allow Ysgol St Baruc to double in size.
An operation to tackle knife crime in Barry was launched last week.
Operation Populus will see officers targeting those who carry knives in the Barry area.

The construction of a new community building has begun in the latest stage of redevelopment work at Cemetery Approach, jointly funded by the Vale of Glamorgan Council and Barry Town Council.
Since 2015, the two Councils have been working in partnership to improve the previously derelict site.
