The Nisa Local on Vere Street has donated £1,200 to Barry Athletic Football Club as part of its Making A Difference Locally charity fund.
Founded in 2008, the fund is gathered from a percentage of sales of all Nisa goods using a "you shop, we donate" system.
Individual stores across the country are then able to choose a local cause to receive the fund.
Manager of the Barry branch tells Nub News why he chose Barry Athletic Football Club.
"The clubs are closed now due to COVID. When they were open they would make money from drinks sales.
"Now the clubs are closed, they have no income so we thought we might as well help them out."
The Club posted the following thank you message on social media.
"Huge thanks to Arwinder at Nisa Local Barry for a donation to the club of £1200 from the Making A Difference Locally charity fund.
"Funds will be used for coach education and equipment for our 250 players.
"This store is a terrific asset to our local community, please use them if you are in the area or access their online home delivery shop through their website."
Arwinder and his store have truly gone above and beyond throughout the pandemic.
In October, Nub News reported that Nisa Local Barry had been offering free lunch bags to struggling families in the wake of Marcus Rashford's child food poverty campaign.
"It just feels like the right thing to do," Awrinder said at the time.
"Of course it's a difficult time for us as well, but we can make money later. There are people who need help now."
