At Craft Republic our mission is to make other people as passionate about great craft beer, wines and spirits as we are.

As an independent taproom and bottle shop we don't serve "ordinary", big-branded corporate beers - you won't find any of the usual suspects in our fridges or on our shelves. We take pride in providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to our customers so a passion for craft beer, wine, cocktails and/ or spirits is a must.

We're a dog friendly destination at the heart of a busy and bustling development so experience of working in a busy bar is essential.

As a new, independent business we have big ambitions so there's plenty of room to grow with us. We've recently been shortlisted as a finalist for Best Bar in the Cardiff Life Awards and our reputation for great drinks and exceptional service is growing. We're looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, experienced bartenders to join our team.

Whilst we've outlined the main duties below, we want to help you make the role your own - this could be through getting involved in our social media activity, compiling our playlists, helping us discover new products or working with us to learn better ways to do things. We're a close team who work hard but have a great time and pull together to make the Craft republic experience the very best it can be.

Shifts include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. As the role involves serving alcohol you'll need to be 18 or over to apply. Applicants must have at lest 1 year's experience of working in a busy bar and must have a passion for what they do.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, at all times ensuring that customers' needs and requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.

• Serve and deliver drinks, quickly and efficiently.

• Proactively assisting in keeping the bar, front-of-house and toilets clean and tidy, at all times and in line with Government Covid-19 regulations.

• Have a passion for what we do and keep up to date with new trends and products.

• Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws In return you can expect

• We're a Real Living Wage employer so salary is £9.50 an hour

• 28 days holiday per year (pro-rata)
