Bookings for Barry Island beach huts open

By Ellyn Wright 19th May 2021

Barry Island's iconic colourful beach huts can now be booked out, Visit the Vale has confirmed.

The 24 beach huts on Whitmore Bay were opened in 2014 and have become a seaside landmark.

Visitors this summer can choose between the small huts, measuring 2.5m x 1.8m and the larger huts, which are 2.4m x 2.5m.

The larger huts also benefit from access to running water, while both have electrical sockets.

The small huts are available for £19.00 per day and the large huts are £32.50 per day during peak season. Prices will reduce during the winter months, starting from 1 November.

Huts are available from 10am – 8pm during peak periods and 10pm during the school summer holidays.

There is currently a no refund policy for bookings, however bookings can be amended subject to availability – should restrictions affect your visit.

Anyone wishing to book can do so HERE.
