TODAY'S BARRY AREA EVENTS: Ease Into Exercise with Chelle at Gibbonsdown Community Centre:

Ok so what is this class about ? I created it because I wanted to provide a class for those who maybe would feel intimidated in a large leisure centre class in a Lycra clad mirrored environment. For those who maybe used to train but haven't for awhile but feel they want to get back into fitness. My class is small, friendly, non-judgemental and fun. You work at your own pace under my guidance. It costs £5 per session with no pre-booking required. At Gibbonsdown community centre, Barry PM me if you want more information. 6:30 pm.

Pub Quiz at the Six Bells Penmark:

Come and join us for our monthly pub quiz. This Monday's theme is general knowledge! Invite your friends and see if you can top the leader board! Cash prizes to be won, Free curry and chips at half time. We start at 8pm! Healing Hands & Friendship Coffee Morning:

Soul Angels therapists will be offering Reiki, Spiritual Healing and other therapies every week for anyone in need of a healing hand, a listening ear and cuppa. All welcome. Donations appreciated but not a necessity. 11 am.

An avid Dickens fan, Armando Iannucci (the award-winning writer/director of The Thick of It, In the Loop, Veep and The Death of Stalin) adapts here, alongside frequent collaborator Simon Blackwell, employing his comedic mastery and vivid characterizations to bring to life one of Dickens' most cherished characters in 'The Personal History Of David Copperfield'.

From birth to infancy, from adolescence to adulthood, the good-hearted David Copperfield is surrounded by kindness, wickedness, poverty and wealth, as he meets an array of remarkable characters in Victorian England. As David sets out to be a writer, in his quest for family, friendship, romance and status, the story of his life is the most seductive tale of all.
