Trains between Barry Island and Barry Docks were disrupted due to a trespass incident earlier today.

A Network Rail Spokesperson confirmed:

"Shortly before 11:30 on 14 August there was an unconfirmed report of a person on the track of the Barry line.

British Transport Police were quickly onsite and the line was fully operating by 12:01.

Five trains were disrupted as a result and normal service resumed within 40-minutes."
