Police Appeal After Porthkerry Park Attack on Man in His 50s

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Porthkerry Park, Barry.

A man reported that he was assaulted while he was walking in the park on Saturday, September 7, at around 7pm.

The assault is reported to have taken place as the man was walking across the field towards the steps which lead to Salisbury Road.

The man in his 50s received treatment in hospital for his injuries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the park at the time to come forward with any information.
