Barry residents can now view the information and guidance for waste and recycling collections this Easter Bank Holiday.

They said: ''There are NO changes to waste and recycling collection days this Easter Bank Holiday.

''Please place out for collection before 7.00 am on your normal collection day.''

Recycling this Easter:

The Vale Council have put together a handy guide of the most common waste at Easter. Please recycle:

• Easter egg boxes

• Easter egg foil

• Easter egg plastic

• Chocolate boxes

• Chocolate box trays (excluding black or brown plastic)

• Vegetable peelings

• Meat and Fishbones

• Easter cards (No glitter) No - Please place in your black bags:

• Wrapping paper - all types

• Wrapping decorations e.g. ribbons and bows

• Sellotape

• Easter cards (metallic/glitter)

• Tissue paper

• Chocolate box trays (black/brown plastic)

• Plastic wrap from Hot Cross Buns
