Early Morning Callout for Barry Coastguard in Search for Missing Person

Barry Coastguard faced a very early morning call out in the search for a missing person in the Llantwit major area.

They said: ''At 02.00hrs this morning our Team were paged with Llantwit major CRT, to Llantwit major beach to conduct a search for a missing person.

''Working with Barry Dock lifeboat's and Rescue 187 helicopter, Areas to the East and West.

''After many areas were checked, Information came in that the person had been found safe inland. Our Teams returned to Stations just after 06.15hrs.''
