A 13-year-old cyclist and a 77-year-old man were taken to hospital yesterday after a road traffic collision at around 5pm yesterday on Gladstone Bridge.

"The boy's injuries with neither life-changing nor life-threatening, but he was taken to hospital as a precaution, along with a 77-year-old male passenger on the bus," said a spokesperson for South Wales Police.

The mother of the teenage boy told Nub News her son was now "at home and doing okay", having left hospital with a walking boot on his foot.
