Police Appeal After Serious Collision Between a Car and Pedestrian in Barry

South Wales Police are appealing for information after a serious road traffic collision on the A4226 Barry at 2.30 am this morning.

The incident involved a pedestrian who was in a collision with a vehicle.

The road was closed between the Travelodge Hotel to the roundabout where the A4226 meets Port Road.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area during the road closures, which is often used to access Cardiff Airport and to use alternative routes where possible.

Delays can be expected in the area.
