Local Resident Transforms Rhoose Playground During Lockdown

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has thanked a Rhoose resident for transforming the equipment in a local play area with a lick of paint and a tidy.
They said: ''We would like to say a huge thank you to a local resident, John Davies, for tidying up the play equipment at the end of Smeaton Close in Rhoose.
''John spent some time during lockdown painting the climbing frame and monkey bars, cleaning the surface and re-painting the bench in the park for other local residents to enjoy when lockdown ends.
"We think this is an excellent example of community spirit during a global pandemic and think John deserves some recognition for his work.
"He's certainly a Rainbow Hero to us."
