We are seeking bubbly and friendly, experienced Nursery Nurses to join our team! We have a thriving established 77 place setting for children aged 0-3 years, with a supportive and welcoming team who are dedicated to providing exceptional child care.

You must have at least a level 3 CCLD qualification OR equivalent. You must be available to attend training, deep cleaning and team meetings which are held on weekends. Dates are provided in advance.

The successful candidate will share our company values of integrity, honesty, loyalty as well as being committed to their role.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Children

  • Ensure all the children's physical, emotional and developmental needs are met and exceeded so that they feel safe, secure, cared for and respected.
  • Carry out effective activity planning in line with nursery policies in order to provide the children with stimulating activities appropriate to their age and individual ability.
  • Maintain safe surroundings at all times and follow health and safety and fire procedures.
  • Ensure that you meet all your obligations under the Childminding and Day Care (Wales) Regulations 2002 and the 2006 Amendment of the Child Minding and Day Care (Wales) Regulations 2002, and are ready for inspection by CIW at any time.
  • Prepare for and participate in parents' evenings.
  • Provide parents with a constructive account of the day's activities which is relevant, professional and confident, when they collect their children at the end of the day.
  • Offer all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, abilities/disabilities, cultural or linguistic backgrounds and in particular challenging situations where racism or discrimination are displayed.
  • Ensure all your key children have a Learning Journey that is regularly updated with continued development progress.
  • Identify and accurately record children's developmental progress as per the company's procedure.

Quality & Premises

  • Keep the nursery and gardens tidy and clean and maintain a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and appearance throughout the day.
  • Maintain records in your room in order to comply with nursery policies, legislation and as required by the management.
  • Participate in the preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms and equipment.
  • Follow H&S and fire policies and processes and report any issues so that managers can take appropriate action.
  • Report any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Participate in the CIW inspection process.
  • Participate in deep clean days.

Other

  • Minimise waste in all areas relevant to your job.
  • Participate in viewings with potential customers according to company procedure.
  • Participate in marketing events.
  • Attend and participate in meetings.
