There's plenty to be down about at the moment, at Nub News we wanted to look on the bright side and find out what you love about Barry.

We asked what you liked about living in Barry – here's what you said:

"It's beautiful parks and green spaces. We are lucky that almost everyone in Barry lives within walking distance of one."

"The fact we can walk to the island and the beach, when we are allowed."

"The people, the beaches and wonderful coastline. Sausage egg and chips at Forte's, dancing every Friday and Saturday night."

"So many lovely places to visit. The knap, pebbly beach. Porthkerry park. Romilly park, Vicky park Jackson bay. To name a few!! Can't wait till we are free to enjoy all again."

"A pastie and Gravy at Terry's Cafe Holton Road/ Wine Bar, Keller, Friars in the 70's and 80's. Fab times."

"The whole of our coast, every bit from Bendricks to Porthkerry. And our woodlands like Porthkerry. We are blessed."

"For me it's being able to walk to Beaches or parks. To get back to nature when you want. Also, I used to love the Colcot shopping centre. I wish it was still there. It would bring so many memories back.

"The beaches, we're so lucky to have some many and they're all different. The history of all of the old buildings, what it looked like in the past and how much it has changed."

"The best of both worlds: beaches with continuous sea air and the countryside right on our doorsteps."

"I love the fact that we have beautiful outdoor spaces on our doorstep and yet easy access to towns, cities and motorways. We really very lucky to live here."

"Walking on the front and having a cup of tea at John's Café."

"Barry Island and Barry Town United FC, looking forward to the day when I can watch them play again at Jenner Park."

"The lovely beaches especially Cold Knap with not only the beach but the beautiful Lake gardens.

"I just love walking to Marine Drive looking at the Bristol Channel & listen to the sound of the sea!"

"Walking around the lake with an ice cream and the front promenade."
