South Wales Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in the garden of a property on Gladstone Road, Barry.

Officers were called to the scene to the rear if the address at approximately 9.10am today following the discovery by a passer-by.

A section of Gladstone Road and Everard Street is currently closed while forensic investigations are carried out, however the death is not believed to be suspicious.

Formal identification has yet to take place, however relatives of the man have been informed.
