Barry Library is providing a number of events during the half-term week.

Staff at the library recommend following the Vale of Glamorgan Facebook page, Penarth Library and Cowbridge Library for online activities throughout the week.

Today there will be an online "spooktacular Halloween session" with the ZooLab team .

"The fun starts at 1pm and it's completely free and you don't need to be a member of the library to attend. You can book on Eventbrite to meet the spiders and reptiles," said Cowbridge Library staff.

'Creepy crafts' sessions are available on Monday and on Saturday this week, and 'spooky story time' is happening on Tuesday and Saturday.

On Wednesday there will be a 'draw-a-long' doodling session and there is a Halloween-themed rhyme-time on Friday.

Cowbridge Library is also offering 'read-a-longs' which you can follow on their social media pages. Find out more here .
