Barry Town United announced today that Lee Kendall has rejoined the club as Head of Goalkeeping and first team assistant coach.

Kendall returns to the club following a short break where he managed Pontypridd Town in Division One; ensuring they survived relegation.

As well as carrying out his role as first team coach Lee will assist Gavin with player recruitment.

Kendall commented: "I'm delighted to be back at the club ahead of our exciting Europa League campaign.

''My commitments outside of football changed at the end of last season so I was unable to manage a football club fully.

''When Gavin asked me to come back to the club I had no hesitation in accepting the offer.

''It works for Barry, myself and my family. It's a club close to my heart and it's great to be back."
