To keep you up to date with everything that is going on, we've decided to post a regular 'Event of the Week' article with details of an activity occurring in the local area.

This week, we chose a charity pub quiz.

Remember in early lockdown when the nation flocked to Zoom for awkward quizzes with family and friends? With all the bad wifi and talking over people, it just made most of us pine for reality and the pub more than ever.

Well now... that time has come. Pub quizzes return to Barry this weekend with a charity event in the Goodsheds development.

Here's how the organisers, Craft Republic, described it in their events listing:

This is definitely an event not to miss! We've teamed up with our fantastic friends & neighbours Brawd Health to bring you the inaugural Craft Republic x Brawd charity pub quiz on the evening of Sunday 11 July.

Why not put together a team and end your weekend with a quiz like no other?! Not only do we guarantee a great night but by joining us for our quiz you'll be helping to support a great cause. Tickets are £5 per head and all money received through ticket sales will be donated to Llamau.
