Come Dine With Me is looking for people in Barry to take part in the brand new series.

After Coronavirus saw production halted, the popular Channel Four show is returning to screens and wants Barry residents to take part.

Production is also looking for contestants from Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Port Talbot.

The show is looking for anyone with an interest in cooking and being on the telly to take part in filming in the coming weeks.

Due to the pandemic, the usual format is changing slightly and will now be filmed at a central house that will host social dinner parties, compared to having camera crews and contestants move from home to home.

Successful applicants will have to chance to win £1,000 if their cooking capabilities come out on top.

Contestants must be 18 or over and not working as a trained or professional chef.

Shooting for the new series, which will air in 2022, will take place between 6 -10 September.

You can apply to be on the show by e-mailing [email protected] or by clicking here .
