Changes to Barry bus timetables during lockdown

During the firebreak period from Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November only essential journeys should be made, such as traveling to work as a key worker. Public transport should be avoided unless you absolutely have to use it, and face coverings should be worn at all times on board.

Buses

The 95 service will run up to every 30 minutes Monday – Saturday, and hourly on Sundays.

The 96 and 96A service will also run up to every 30 minutes Monday-Friday, but every 2 hours on Sunday.

Monday-Friday up to four buses per hour will travel to Penarth and two buses per our will extend to Barry as the 94 service .

On Saturdays one bus on the 92 service and one bus on the 94 service will operate hourly, providing a bus every 30 minutes to Penarth and every hour to Barry.

On Sundays the 92 service and the 94 service will both run every two hours, providing an hourly service in Penarth.

Tickets

All four-week tickets on the app will be frozen on Monday 26 October.

You can re-activate your ticket whenever you need to travel, but once it has been re-activated, you cannot freeze it again.

If you have purchased a four-week ticket using an Iff card, email Cardiff Bus at [email protected] to extend your ticket.

If you've purchased an annual ticket at either of the Cardiff Bus customer service centres, and want to de-activate it, email [email protected].
