Pubs, cafes and restaurants in Barry, and the rest of Wales can reopen for outdoor dining today.

Venues can allow up to six people from six households meet, with social distancing and hygiene measures in place.

Cafés on Barry Island have already had a few visitors this morning.

"We are ready! The sun is a bit late. Our guests don't care, especially when snuggling a hot water bottle while enjoying their delicious breakfast," said K9 Plus One on Facebook.

Outdoor attractions, such as zoos and theme parks, can also reopen under the latest easing of lockdown.

Under these eased restrictions, wedding receptions and funerals can be held outdoors at regulated premises with up to 30 people.

Organised outdoor activities, such as sport activities limited to 30 people, can resume.

Hospitality is set to be able to reopen indoors from 17 May, along with increased limits on those who can attend organised events, depending on case rates and the result of the election on 6 May.
