Visitors have flocked to Barry Island today to enjoy the sunny weather.
Traffic to the island was slower than usual, and Nell's Point car park was almost full around lunch time, with long queues for the new ticket machines.
With highs of 19°C and travel restrictions in Wales lifted, the beach and promenade was busier than it has been in many months.
There were also long queues for the cafés and takeaways.
Manager of Rumba Barry Sarah Parsons said it was good to have so many visitors.
"We've been open for two weeks, and we have been busy," she said.
"I've been open from midday to seven or eight at night, and the police and the Council have been fine.
"Having this weather is the best, and it's definitely better than last year. There's more families out and less litter."
Smuggler's Cove Adventure Golf reopened this weekend, and worker Cameron Morgan said they had been waiting to do so for a few weeks.
"We could have opened from 13 March, but there wouldn't have been enough customers," he said.
"We'll see how it goes, because we also run the arcade in the Western Shelter and square amusements, which haven't opened yet."
There were also queues for the newly opened Gingerlicious, next to the Nell's Point car park.
Owned by Joanna Studt, the pop pink shop sells ice cream, crepes, drinks.
Susan Studt, Joanna's mother, told Nub News it had been a good first few days.
"We've had queues outside, and when restrictions allow, we'll have beach toys out here for peopleto buy as well," she said.
