Barry Town Council are holding a six-week public consultation to gauge the community's views on how to tackle climate change.

The Council have committed to "working towards net zero carbon by 2030" and residents to have their say on how this can be achieved.

This comes almost two years after the Vale of Glamorgan Council voted to declare a Climate Emergency in 2019.

"We are hoping to hear from residents, businesses, community groups, schools and young people," a Town Council spokesperson said.

"It is of the utmost importance to the wellbeing of all people in Barry and of our future generations that we hear views from a wide range of people in our community."

The 25-question survey can be accessed HERE.

The consultation began yesterday (Monday 15 March) and will run until Friday 23 April 2021.
