Barry RNLI recovers 18-foot sports vessel from Cold Knap

Barry RNLI lifeboat towed an 18-foot sports boat back to Barry Harbour last night.
The casualty vessel had a mechanical failure and was stranded at Cold Knap.
The volunteer crew launched at 9.40pm last night.
"It was determined that the safest option would be to tow the casualty vessel to Barry harbour," Barry RNLI posted on Facebook.
"Once the casualty vessel was safely moored the volunteers prepared the lifeboat ready for the next service call."
Barry Coastguard was also paged. On social media they wrote that two people were on board, both of whom were checked once back at the harbour, and safety advice was given.
