Community is one of the core values of Nub News - it's at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're supporting local businesses and promoting the 'shop local' message in the run up to Christmas.

Local retailers are keen to encourage customers back to the high street during what is normally one of the busiest periods of the year.

To help traders get back on their feet, Barry Nub News has launched a virtual Christmas market - a place where local traders can share details of their festive stock, menus, special offers and deals, opening times, etc.

Happy Little People

Happy Little People sells children clothes and toys which are all eco-friendly or bought from Fairtrade suppliers. The toys are wooden and sustainable. Clothing is usually organic or made from recycled material. Visit the website , Instagram and Facebook page .

Happy Little People are currently an online business but are waiting for premises to be ready for us to move into next year.

They will be attending the Sully Sports Christmas Fayre on 5-6 and 19-20 December, as well as the Forage Christmas Fayre 12-15 December.
