A local taxi firm in Barry is offering their support for those that can't get to the shops in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Barry based taxi firm A2B, who operate across the Vale and Cardiff area, want to do their bit to help those in isolation or the vulnerable.

They said: ''For anyone needing shopping, but can't get to the shops we at A2B will try to do anything we can to help.

''As of immediately we are going to be accepting click and collect deliveries, there will be a meter charge for the fare, so please don't hesitate to contact us about your click and collect shopping.

''All we would need from you, is the code for your shopping to be able to pick it up.

''A few shops that do click and collect are Asda, Argos & Sainsbury's.

''Can we ask that you please share this post, so we can help people who can't get to the shops.

''Also spread the word around for the elderly, who may not have access to social media.

''Thank you and stay safe.''

It is important during these times to come together as a community and help those around us.
