Barry coastguard respond to distress beacon activation

Barry Coastguard were called out last night to answer a distress beacon.
The team were paged at 6.36pm alongside Barry Dock Lifeboat and Rescue helicopter 187.
"Our team were paged to a distress beacon activation, in the area of the Old Harbour," said Barry Coastguard.
"It was located on an Old Trawler and removed by our Coastguard team.
In an Emergency 999 and Ask for The Coastguard."
