Want to keep fit, make new friends and gain new skills in your spare time? Get a taste of life as a Royal Navy Reservist at our free Royal Naval Reserve Experience on 26th February 2020 at 7 pm. Spaces are limited, so make sure you register your interest in plenty of time. As well as learning about the different branches and specialisms of the Royal Naval Reserve, you'll get the chance to:

-Handle the latest operational weapons

-Take part in a firefighting and rope handling exercise

-Discover more about the Royal Naval Reserve during a presentation from the Unit

There will be the opportunity to mingle with serving reservists and get your questions answered.

Buds and Blooms Fairytale theme at Rondel House Day centre:

Come along and join the fun with our Fairytale themed sessions for February. Activities will include sensory play, singing, signing, stories, craft, imaginative play, parachute games, instruments, free play, puppets and lots of topic related props. There are lots of new resources to explore and experiment with as a result of our grant from The National Lottery Fund. Buds and Blooms are small, friendly groups held in care homes in Barry on a Wednesday morning and Penarth on a Thursday afternoon. The residents love seeing us and interacting with the children and it is lovely to see the relationships that are forming between the residents, children and parents/carers. Book now to avoid disappointment as spaces will be limited to ten families per session.
