Blooming Together Pregnancy Group at Barry Library:

This group is perfect if you want to meet other expectant mums, are on maternity leave or feeling a bit alone in your motherhood journey. Come have a laugh and find out local pregnancy information that can be invaluable in helping you make choices surrounding the birth of your baby! If you have given birth in the last few months and want to reach out to other mums, you are more than welcome. Whether you are a new mum of one or two babies, you are 1 week or 42 weeks pregnant....you will always be welcomed at the group!

Group is free of charge but donations towards refreshments and room hire are greatly appreciated. 1 pm - 3 pm.

Barry & Vale Of Glamorgan Sling at Barry Library:

The Village Slings (www.facebook.com/thevillageslings) will be available at the Beautifully Blooming meetup to troubleshoot your carrier and library hire. Jenny is a trained babywearing consultant with The School of Babywearing and will help you to carry easily and comfortably to benefit both you and your baby. Sling hire is £15 for 4 weeks and you can create an account at thevillageslings.myturn.com to browse and reserve carriers. Please note we are hosted by Beautifully Blooming who require a donation for their group running costs.

Cathy Marston has previously been an Associate Artist of the Royal Opera House and Director of Bern Ballett, and is much in demand internationally. The inspiration for her first work for The Royal Ballet Main Stage is the momentous life and career of the cellist Jacqueline du Pré. Jerome Robbins's elegant and elegiac classic forms the second part of the programme. This exercise in pure dance for five couples, set to music by Chopin, is a masterpiece of subtlety and invention.
