Barry Island Pleasure Park is set to reopen on 26 April, the earliest date outdoor attractions are allowed to do so according to Welsh Government restrictions.
Henry Danter, who has owned the park for six years, says he is preparing to put on the "biggest show Barry has ever seen", complete with new rides.
"We're very, very excited - more excited than we've been since October when we closed," he told Nub News.
"We're sad we missed Easter, but we can't wait to reopen on the 26th. We're going to put on the biggest show Barry has ever seen."
Travel restrictions into and out of Wales are set to be lifted on 12 April. Mr Danter hopes the park will attract visitors from across the UK once more.
"With all the new rides, it's going to be a great day out - not just for people in Wales, but people from England, Ireland and Scotland too.
"This is the place to be, the place memories are made.
"Barry is a very special place in my heart. The passion and love we have for Barry means we always do our best."
Mr Danter reassures prospective visitors that social distancing procedures will be enforced across the park:
"Whatever's necessary, we will do. We've got more precautions than supermarkets do, doing everything possible - masks, social distancing in queues, hand washing stations, even disinfecting rides after every go.
"We've learnt from last year and we're going to be the safest theme park in Wales.
"We have double the amount of signs, hand sanitizer stations and a lot more staff to police it.
"We're very concerned about it because we're dealing with people's lives."
