Police Appeal for Witnesses after Car Hits Pedestrian in Barry

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which took place in Morrisons car park in Barry.

Officers were called after a blue Vauxhall Agila collided with a pedestrian in the car park on Tuesday, July 9, at around 5.15pm.

A 34-year-old man was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, for treatment. His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage to get in contact.
