Vale Carer's Gathering Breakfast at Cwm Ciddy:

Karen is hosting a Vale breakfast gathering at the Cwm Ciddy for carers. The gatherings give carers the chance to speak to other carers. Spaces are limited so booking is required. 9:30 am - 11:00 am. Blooming Together, Pregnancy Group/Sling at Barry Library:

This group is perfect if you want to meet other expectant mums, are on maternity leave or feeling a bit alone in your motherhood journey. Come have a laugh and find out local pregnancy information that can be invaluable in helping you make choices surrounding the birth of your baby! If you have just given birth and want to reach out to other new mums, you are more than welcome. At this session, we will be joined by The Village Slings who hire out wraps and carriers of all kinds. Jenny is a fully trained babywearing consultant and can help you achieve a comfortable, snug fit. Group is free of charge but donations towards refreshments and room hire are greatly appreciated. 1 pm - 3 pm.

  • BOND WITH YOUR LITTLE ONE - Doing physical activity is a great thing for your child to see and they love to get involved too! Watch the little ones play and bond together too! Every Tuesday at Cadoxton Methodist Church Hall, Barry at 9.30 am, £5 per session no pre-booking required. Bring an exercise mat and a bottle of water.

• Road closure will be in place for works to be undertaken to renew water supplies. The road to be closed is Blackbird Road outside 11, 12, 13 and 14 from 8.00am to 5.00pm.

• Contractor: A Plant Lux A4226 (Five Mile Lane)

• Ongoing

• A number of sets of traffic lights will be in place throughout the Five Mile Lane to allow for highway improvement works.

• Please note: All businesses within the area are open as normal and can be accessed via the opposite end to the closure.
