Aspirations UK, a family-run furniture and upcycling store in Barry, are making a move to a shop front in Broad street.

They will be taking over from Streets Brasserie which occupied the premises previously.

The shop was previously located on the High Street and will continue trading in their current store until the 18th of January.

The store has been on the High Street for four years after moving from the flea market where the business began.

Debbie Burton-Slocombe and her partner Glyn are behind the furniture shop which recently won Independent Furniture Retailer of the Year at the Welsh Independent Retail awards 2019.

The previous shop had been a part of the high street for a long time and residents were happy to see it turned over to a successful local business.
