Police launch appeal for missing 42-year-old Barry man

South Wales Police has launched an appeal to help find Richard Owen, a missing local man.

Richard is 42, and also goes by Gareth. He was last seen on 17 July 2021 in the Barry area.

He is from Barry but he has links to the Cardiff and Merthyr Tydfil areas.

Richard is described as a white male, around 5'8 with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black and white long sleeved checked shirt, burgundy shorts, a black beanie hat and sliders or flip flops. He was carrying a black bag with white writing.
