Police appeal for potential witness over attack near Coldbrook Road East

Officers investigating an alleged assault in Barry are appealing for a woman who may be able to assist with the investigation to come forward.

They would like to speak to the potential witness who may have seen an assault take place in the wooded area off Coldbrook Road East, sometime around the end of April.

A man reported to police on May 16th, that while walking through the wooded area near to the corner shop in Coldbrook Road East at the end of April, he was assaulted by three men sometime in the evening.

A woman believed to have brown hair is said to have been walking in the area at the time and may have witnessed the assault.
