Barry Holton Road Update: Family of Jordan Davies Tribute "loving son, brother, and father of two young children"

The family of the young man who was killed in Barry town centre on Monday afternoon have paid tribute to him.

Jordan Davies, 23, died following a fatal assault on Holton Road.

His devastated family said: "Jordan was a loving son, brother, and father of two young children. He was also a keen football player.

"Jordan will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

"We ask that our privacy is now respected during what is an extremely difficult time."

A man is due in court today, charged with Jordan's murder.

Jordan Brown, 24, from Barry was charged in the early hours of this morning and will now appear before Cardiff Magistrates' Court. Detectives are continuing to appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
